Is there anything better than springtime in the Northwest? The days are longer, the temperatures are rising and the flowers are in bloom. One of our favorite springtime activities is to visit the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival each year. This year marks the 25th Annual Tulip Festival and even after 25 years, the flowers still seem to amaze us each year. If you haven't been to the Tulip Festival before, make the effort to see them this year. You'll be surprised at just how marvelous they are. It's worth the travel time and we promise you won't be disappointed.

While you're there, stop by Pacioni's Pizzeria on 1st Street in Mount Vernon. This quaint Italian eatery has the best gourmet pizza ever! (We're getting hungry just thinking about it). Pacioni's doesn't look like much from the outside, but this family owned restaurant is a local favorite.
